The Heart of Our Story
Be A Friend began with a simple observation: that kindness is the most powerful tool for inclusion. I saw a gap in the way Deaf and hard-of-hearing students were being supported, and I knew that true acceptance starts with a single act of friendship.
This journey is one of continuous growth and discovery. I believe that by fostering a culture of communication and mutual respect, we can create a world where every student feels seen, heard, and valued for who they are.
